 For me personally, one of my greatest challenges throughout my experience with the community partners has been finding ways to efficiently communicate with the students regardless of a language barrier. On that same note, I think it ties into how it makes learning in general very difficult at times for these students because not only do they have to take in all the information, but they are also working to understand it all in general. Over the course of this semester, I have really enjoyed the time that I have gotten to spend with the students. I would have to say that one of my greatest achievements was creating bonds with kids that I just never expected I would have. For example, after a few visits, 3 of the same students always wanted to come to my group because we always had fun working together.  The purpose of the website "I AM A MIGRANT" is to have a place where migrants can go and share their personal stories and experiences. It is a page created by the International Organization for Migration and it works by migrants sharing their stories and pushing efforts to end discrimination against people who have had the same experiences of migrating. This allows an opportunity for those people to have their voices heard. I think that something like this is great because in order to raise awareness and more understanding towards the struggle that these populations of people have to go to in order to live comfortable and purposeful lives. I think they call it a campaign because I don't necessarily see an end to this site or the number of stories that can be shared. There will always be people around the world who will share their struggles and past experiences in order to enhance the general population's knowledge of what they really must go through.      Over the course of these first few weeks in this class, I have really broadened my horizons and came into it with a very open mind. I have really enjoyed it so far and it is cool that I get to teach international immigrant high school students subjects such as science. Although I haven't ever really done something like this, I am excited to continue not only helping the students learn but also for myself to learn more about them and their backgrounds. One of the things I noticed in my first day with the kids was how enthusiastic they are about learning and that really motivates me to give them all of my energy when helping teach. This experience also allowed me to learn how to communicate and have an understanding with students who have a language barrier of any kind.
